A seat cushion with a seat surface wall area and a bottom surface wall area has a bulge-shaped transition wall area which joins the seat surface wall area to the bottom surface wall area. Thus, there is a fluid-tight cushion which can be filled with air via a sealable fill opening. In two adjacent spaced apart areas the distance of the transition wall area from the middle of the seat cushion is increased, by which in overhead view lens-shaped areas are formed which project laterally beyond the essentially circular outline shape of the seat cushion which is otherwise determined by the transition wall area. These projecting areas are supports for the thighs of an individual sitting on the seat cushion. Even for a small diameter of the generally circular surface-shaped seat cushion this yields good sitting comfort, since the thighs are supported at least in the area adjoining the buttocks by the projecting supports, as would be the case otherwise only for a seat cushion with an altogether larger diameter.
Est présenté un coussin de siège dont les faces supérieures et inférieures sont jointes l'une à l'autre par une aire de transition bombée. Il s'agit donc d'un coussin étanche qui peut être rempli d'air par l'entremise d'une ouverture scellable. En deux endroits contigus mais séparés, la distance de l'aire de transition depuis le centre du coussin est accrue, de manière à former deux sections lenticulaires projetées latéralement au-delà de la forme essentiellement circulaire du coussin, laquelle est déterminée par l'aire de transition. Ces projections servent de support à la personne qui prend place sur le coussin de siège. Le coussin essentiellement circulaire offre un bon confort en dépit de son petit diamètre, les cuisses étant soutenues par les supports au moins à la hauteur où elles rejoignent les fesses, ce que seul un coussin de siège de plus grand diamètre saurait faire.
