A seat cushion/tote bag combination including a plinth- like body having a cushioned seating surface, an opposed surface and a peripheral edge. At least one flap is secured to the peripheral edge. The at least one flap has an article receiving face with a plurality of article receiving pockets and an opposed exterior face. The at least one flap is movable between a travel position in which the article receiving face rests upon the cushioned seating surface and an operative position in which the flap is suspended from the peripheral edge with the article receiving face facing away from the plinth-like body thereby providing access to the article receiving pockets. The at least one flap is secured by fasteners in the travel position. At least one handle is provided on one of the cushioned body and the opposed exterior face of the at least one flap.
