A seat sliding apparatus is constructed by a lower rail to be mounted to a vehicle floor, an upper rail on which the lower rail slides, a memory mechanism section, a lock member locking the upper rail to the lower rail and a walk-in mechanism section for locking and unlocking movement of a seat section in a forward-and-backward direction through the memory mechanism section and the lock member, so that the memory mechanism section is assembled to at least one substrate so as to be united.

Cette invention concerne un socle de siège coulissant composé d'un profilé inférieur ancré au plancher du véhicule, d'un profilé supérieur qui coulisse dans le profilé inférieur, d'un mécanisme à mémoire, d'un élément de verrouillage des deux profilés et d'un mécanisme de commande servant à interdire/autoriser le coulissement du siège d'avant en arrière et vice versa par l'intermédiaire du mécanisme à mémoire et de l'élément de verrouillage, le mécanisme à mémoire étant assemblé à au moins un support.
