ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A seat suspension has an upper end and a lower end of the front side of a pair of X-shaped links rotatably attached to an upper frame and a lower frame. An upper end and a lower end of the X-shaped links at the back side are supported slidably by the two frames. The pair of X-shaped links are fixed at both sides of the two frames substantially therealong in the vicinity of each X-shaped link. Tension springs are disposed substantially parallel to the X-shaped links. One end of the springs is latched to the upper end of said X-shaped links at the back side. The other end of the springs is latched to one end of a bell crank rotatably operated from the outside. Shock absorbers are respectively mounted at the outside of said pair of X-shaped links with one end of each absorber rotatably connected to the lower frame and the other end rotatably connected to its respective X-shaped link.
