A seated exercise apparatus comprises a frame having a seat attached to the frame. A pair of opposed cranks are rotatably coupled to the frame such that they rotate about a first axis. A medial portion of each of a pair of elongated members are rotatably connected to the frame at a second axis. A first end of each elongated member has a handle and a second end of each elongated member is rotatably connected to a one end of a respective pedal arm. The other end of each pedal arm is in turn rotatably connected to a respective crank. Each pedal arm has a pedal adapted to receive a user's foot. In operation, the apparatus provides the user with coordinated seated exercise of both the arms/hands and legs/feet. The feet move in an up and down motion and the arms move in a coordinated arcuate motion.
La présente invention concerne un appareil d'exercice en position assise comprenant un cadre présentant un siège fixé au cadre. Une paire de manivelles opposées sont couplées de manière rotative au cadre, de façon à se mettre en rotation autour d'un premier axe. Une partie intermédiaire de chacun des éléments allongés d'une paire d'éléments allongés est reliée de manière rotative au cadre au niveau d'un second axe. Une première extrémité de chaque élément allongé présente une poignée et une seconde extrémité de chaque élément allongé est reliée de manière rotative à une extrémité d'un levier de pédale respectif. L'autre extrémité de chaque levier de pédale est quant à elle reliée de manière rotative à une manivelle respective. Chaque levier de pédale présente une pédale adaptée pour recevoir le pied d'un utilisateur. En fonctionnement, l'appareil permet à l'utilisateur d'effectuer des exercices coordonnés des bras/mains et des jambes/pieds en position assise. Les pieds se déplacent de haut en bas et les bras se déplacent dans un mouvement arqué coordonné.
