SEATING FURNITURE, MORE PARTICULARLY CHAIR Abstract In an article of seating furniture (1) constructed after the fashion of a free oscillator having as side members (6) substantially Z-shaped resilient supporting sections (7) the top and bottom end portions (8), (9) of each supporting section (7) are so interconnected via a rod-shaped resiliently deformable reinforcing member (12) inclined oppositely to the intermediate portion (10) of the supporting sections (7) as to prevent the chair from oscillating or seesawing excessively.
