The invention relates to a method for improving blood circulation in seated or reclining individuals. Said method is characterized in that at least one vibrating device (5) mounted below the seat or reclining surface locally passes oscillations having a defined or definable frequency in the range of from 5 to 30 Hz into areas of the body of the seated or reclining individual suspected of circulatory disturbances.

L'invention concerne un meuble d'assise ou de couchage équipé d'au moins un dispositif à vibrations destiné à améliorer la circulation de la personne assise ou couchée sur le meuble. Selon l'invention, des vibrations présentant une fréquence déterminée ou déterminable comprise entre 5 et 30 Hz sont injectées localement par le ou les dispositifs à vibrations (5) placés sous la surface d'assise ou de couchage dans des zones du corps de la personne assise ou couchée dans lesquelles des problèmes circulatoires sont à craindre.
