SECONDARILY CONTAINED FLUID SUPPLY SYSTEM ABSTRACT A secondarily contained piping system comprising a flexible inner supply pipe which is fitted at each end with a coupling and an outer secondary containment pipe having a substantially larger diameter than the flexible inner supply pipe. Two spaced underground access chambers are intercon- nected in a fluid tight manner through the side wall, just above the chamber base, by the secondary containment pipe. All flexible inner supply pipe couplings and associated fit- tings are disposed within the access chambers. A fluid source provides an originating interface to the flexible inner supply pipe. A fluid outlet provides a terminating interface to the flexible inner supply pipe. Access chambers are of suffi- cient size to permit manual or mechanical removal or replace- ment of the flexible inner supply pipe. The flexible inner supply pipe has sufficient bend radius to be removed and replaced through the access chambers. All components of the system are chemically compatible with and impervious to the fluids to be transmitted and with the surrounding environment in which they are disposed. The flexible inner supply pipe and its associated couplings and fitting are of sufficient strength to withstand internal fluid pressures. The access chambers and secondary containment pipe are of sufficient strength to withstand external loads.
