- 23 - SECONDARY CONFINEMENT CONTAINER FOR TRANSPORTATION OF LIQUIDS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A container for transportation of hazardous liquids comprises a molded inner container of eliptical vertical cross-section and circular horizontal cross- section with openings in the top surface for filling and discharge. The inner container is confined by a fully surrounding molded outer container which is generally cylindrical in shape and defines horizontal upper and lower confining surfaces. Between the confining surface and the eliptical surface of the inner container is pro- vided a disc-shaped cushion also of molded material. Around the periphery of the upper and lower surfaces of the outer container are provided axially projecting pro- tecting portions which include molded lugs for tie down and lifting, recesses for forklift lifting and cooperating projections and recesses for stacking of one container on another.
