The invention relates to a frame section (1, 2, 3, 4) for a window or casement frame of a window, door or façade. Said section comprises an undercut cable groove (11), which is situated on the outer periphery of the section and is designed to hold an electric cable (12) comprising two or more electric conductors (14) in a positive fit. The section has a centring (34) frame for the cable (12), which can be placed over the latter (12) and can be fixed to the section.
