ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A sectional shower cabinet is disclosed wherein a plurality of sections are aligned and held together by a plurality of assembly blocks. A plurality of single- piece, hollow shaft assembly blocks are attached to the backside of a single-piece shower module before it is sectioned. The shower module is then cut into sec- tions so that each assembly block is cut into an upper portion and a lower portion. The upper and lower por- tions of each assembly block will then be attached to adjacent sections of the shower cabinet. A guide pin is placed in each lower portion. These pins are then aligned with and slipped into the hollow shafts in the upper portions of their corresponding assembly blocks to join the sections together. An H-channel vinyl extrusion strip is placed between adjacent shower sections to provide a watertight seal. The disclosed shower cabinet is designed and manufactured so that it can be easily assembled at the installation site completely from the front of the shower cabinet.
