ABSTRACT Disclosed is a sectioned slat for a Venetian blind having a plurality of slats supported in spaced relationship by a support struct- ure which includes at least a pair of lift strings threaded through the slats on opposite sides of the center plane of the blind. The slat com- prises a plurality of sections having corresponding ends shaped for joining together in abutting relationship. The joining is accomplished by pins mounted to extend from one abutting end for insertion into the other abutting end so as to be totally concealed when the slat is assembled. A broken slat can be replaced without the necessity of taking the entire blind to a repair shop.
