The cookware lid holder of this invention is a device by which cookware lids may be organized, secured, and stored in a manner that permits the lids to be easily retrieve and matched with the respective cookware, and displays the lids in a visually pleasing manner when not in use. Each lid is secured to the device by way of the lid's handle, such that the inner surface of the lid is displayed outwards. Depending on the needs and desires of the consumer, the lid holder can be made to hold a set of lids in a vertical array, or one or more lids arrayed above the cookware they are used with during cooking. The invention also provides cookware sets that include cookware with matching lids, and a lid holding device adapted to receive lids in the set.
