A novel holographic element comprising a tissue support having adhered thereto at least two, metallized holographic images thereon, wherein one of said metallized holographic images can be viewed by non-coherent (e.g. white) light and at least another of said metallized holographic images can be viewed only by coherent (e.g. laser) light, wherein said metallized holographic images are transferred from a polymeric support to said tissue support under heat and pressure wherein the metallized portion of the holographic image is transferred to said tissue support leaving a holographic image on the polymeric support for reuse
