A securement device (10) for Indwelling Catheters or Introducers having a pad (25) with an adhesive backing (30) for securement to the skin of a patient. A base (14) is mounted on the pad (25) having one or more spaced holes (26-29) therethrough with an elongated strand (16) extending through said hole or holes. The strand (16) may be wrapped around or passed through a connector (12) mounted on the base and the free end(s) thereof may be tied to the strand (16) or to another strand (24) arising from the base (24).

La présente invention se rapporte à un dispositif de fixation pour sondes à demeure ou introducteurs, qui possède une plaquette dotée d'un dos adhésif permettant de fixer ledit dispositif à la peau d'un patient. Une base est montée sur la plaquette, ladite base étant percée d'un ou de plusieurs trous espacés, et un fil allongé s'étendant à travers le ou lesdits trous.
