ABSTRACT The present invention relates to means for rigidly securing an elongate member in a hollow frame member of a bicycle, wherein an aperture extends through said frame member, the elongate member is located in said aperture, wedging means are disposed around said second member and extend into said aperture from opposite sides, said pair of wedging means engaging between said members to resist rela- tive movement therebetween, and screw clamping means acting on said pair of wedging means to maintain said engagement.
