The invention concerns a component for authenticating a document or a product, comprising a transparent plastic film embossed to display at least a diffraction grating, the embossed surface being at least partly coated with a metallized layer. The invention is characterised in that the embossed film includes a first zone (4) producing a rainbow effect with respect to the illuminating direction, said rainbow effect vanishing when the component is oriented perpendicularly to the first orientation, and a second zone (6) coated with a dielectric material producing a coloured effect of a first colour for a first orientation of the component and a second different colour for the orientation perpendicular to the first orientation.
La présente invention concerne un composant pour l'authentification d'un document ou d'un produit, présentant un film plastique transparent embossé pour présenter au moins un réseau diffractant, la surface embossée étant au moins partiellement revêtue par une couche de métallisation, caractérisé en ce que le film embossé présente une première zone (4) produisant un effet arc-en- ciel selon une première orientation du composant par rapport à une direction d'éclairage, ledit effet arc-en-ciel disparaissant lorsque le composant est orienté perpendiculairement à la première orientation, et une deuxième zone (6) enduite d'un matériau diélectrique produisant un effet coloré d'une première couleur pour une première orientation du composant et une deuxième couleur différente pour l'orientation perpendiculaire à la première orientation.
