ABSTRACT A device for securing at least one cable to a support (not shown) or for securing together two or more cables compris- ing a base member having two inclined surfaces on which the cable or cables can rest; a bar which is secured to and spaced from the base member longitudinally between the inclined sur- faces and extends lengthwise of the cable or cables; a strap which can be passed around the bar and the cable or cables at least once; and releasable tensioning means which can tension the strap when positioned around the bar and the cable or cables.
