ABSTRACT A security assembly to secure a ladder to a roofrack, the assembly includes a lock which moves a hooked rod from an engaging position with respect to a rung of the ladder, to a release position spaced from the rung so that in the engaging position the ladder is secured to the roofrack by the hook engaging the rung.
