- 11 - ABSTRACT A bicycle stand including a stationary up- right member anchored to the ground and horizontally oriented enclosure of rectangular cross section at- tached to its top with an opening in one side thereof to receive a bicycle securing arm. A pivotable second member carrying three arms is adapted to engage a bi- cycle. One of the arms is aligned with and adapted to pass through the opening, an aperture to receive a leg of a shackle lock placed within the enclosure to lock the bicycle in the stand. A storage compartment can serve as one of the upright members and is secured by the same lock.
