The present invention relates to a security bracket for picture frames comprising a mounting portion adapted to be permanently fixed to a vertical wall, and a corner portion connected to the mounting portion. The corner portion has a first side portion and a second side portion; the first and second side portions extend outwardly forwardly from the mounting portion, and each of the side portions is provided with a flange. The corner portion is adapted to securely lock a corresponding corner of a frame, and the first side portion can pivot from an open position (facilitating placement of the corresponding corner of the frame within the security bracket) to a closed position (provided to securely lock the corner of the frame within the bracket). The bracket is made of metal having a predetermined thickness and rigidity, and adapted to prevent easy opening of the bracket by unauthorized person. The first side portion is oriented vertically and the second side portion is oriented horizontally; the first side portion is integrally connected to the second side portion along the adjacent transversal edge of the two side portions. The security bracket comprises two left and two right brackets provided to securely lock all four corners of the frame, and the metal is a mild steel from 16 GA to 18 GA.

Le premier côté latéral est vertical et le second horizontal, et ils sont intégrallement reliés le long de leur bords transversaux contigus. La fixation de sécurité est constituée de deux éléments de fixation gauches et de deux éléments de fixation droits afin de verrouiller solidement les quatre côtés du cadre. Elle est fabriquée d'acier doux dont l'épaisseur varie entre 16 et 18.
