A security device (10) for securing one member to another member such as a vehicle steering wheel (40) to a gear lever (25), the device (10) having first and second jaw assemblies (11 and 28) interconnected through a universal joint (34), each jaw assembly (11 and 28) including jaws (14 and 20), and (30 and 31) which may be locked about each member to be secured.
