A security door lock for entry doors. The locking apparatus permits a partial opening of the door while at the same time braces the door against the floor to prevent access which includes a base member attached to the inner face of an entry door, a bar member where the upper end is connected to the base providing pivotal action and the lower end is formed to mate with a rigid keeper member having a grooved channel so that the lower end of the bar member is permitted to be dropped into the grooved channel formed in the rigid keeper permitting the bar to slide along the grooved channel at the same time as a door opens to the distance set by the length of the grooved channel in the rigid keeper which is attached to a floor.
