ABSTRACT A system for providing physical security for buildings, vehicles, and persons, by means of a laser surveillance system, consisting of laser transmitters and receivers, and an associated analysis unit, characterized in that a rotating platform is arranged in an elevated position that provides an unobstructed field of view over the object protected, said platform rotating at a variable adjustable speed, the space monitoring laser system being arranged on this platform and connected to an external analysis and control unit, said analysis and control unit detecting and identifying changes by using stored data, and being capable of switching to previously identified points or patterns.
