This specification discloses an IMPROVED SECURITY LOCK WITH FREE OPENING FROM INSIDE, of the type that comprehends a box that, able to be assembled in door, comprehends a mechanism of combination consistent of a body in which one finds a drum assembled in a rotative way, normally blocked by the presence of bolts, of variable projection and prefixed, and its disabling corresponds with the combination of an insertable key through a passage of said drum; this drum is solidly vinculated to a driving arm, that alternatively commands a main latch, normally tensed through elastic means towards its shutting projection through a virtual plane that contains de front edge of the door, so it is able to be lodged in a shutting media divided by the frame of the same door and aligned with latch when said door is disposed lodged in the bay of its frame; being the driving arm, also, connected to an axis of manual opening of the lock with a passant stem ended in a holder of manual command, such as a handle or doorknob; characterized because the mechanism of combination, having only one inlet of the key oriented towards the external part of the door, is covered with an armoring provided at the same time with an inlet mouth of the key that aligns with the mentioned entry; this armoring, is found firmly fixed to a supporting plate provided by the internal face of the same door; latch, being of regulable length, has its stem vinculated to the half section of a "U" shaped tail, that is completed with a driven branching and a blocking branching, of which: the driven branching vinculates the driving arm, while the blocking branching affects an opening that -in the position of open retraction of bolt towards the interior of door- is coincident with tooth of an articulated blocking arm, normally tensed by a spring in a blocking position; being this arm under the influence ofunlocking means, assembled in the end of the stem of a latch normally tensed by elastic means towards its projection through the front edge of the door and connectable to a temporary locking means of the same latch thus projected; the lock, also including, a first means of additional locking of the angular displacement of stem corresponding to handle of free opening from inside, and a second additional locking means of the displacement of the driving arm, commandable from inside.
