The ability to provide protection to personal property by means of electronic security equipment has generally been restricted to placing said property within a protected perimeter. The present invention relates to a "Security Device" (herein the general name for the proposed item to be patented) for protecting items by way of a flexible Loop Cable containing electrical conductors. The device is designed to be configured with a standard electronic security system by means of a control wire or RF transmitter. The device utilizes a weather proof housing with a hinged cover. Both ends of the Loop Cable are connected to the device by means of a Male (Loop Cable Modular Connector Ends) and Female (Docking Port Assembly) Connector. The User passes one end of the Loop Cable through the item(s) to be protected and reconnects same to the Docking Port Assembly. The device provides electronic supervision of the Loop Cable from disconnection and tampering by way of a Normally Closed and Normally Opened Circuit and a tamper switch configured to a standard electronic security system. A fitting is also provide on the device to accommodate a pad lock.
