A security panel for use on windows on a building comprises a sheet of rigid material, at least one mounting means on the sheet material for mounting on the window and a laser cut design on the sheet material being metal. The mounting means is arranged to allow the owner of the building to remove the panel from the building through the use of a lock mounted thereon, the panel is removed inwardly and has at least one hinge arrangement.
