The invention relates to a security room for information technology facilities, which exhibits fireproof side walls (2) comprising a sealing door (5), a floor (4) and a ceiling (3). Sealing of the room against heat effects in case of a fire is essentially fostered by the fact that at least the side walls (2) are assembled in a modular manner from individual fireproof members (S, D, E) which are laid side-by-side and are in the form of panels extending from floor (4) to ceiling (3). In addition, fireproof sealing members (2.5, 2.6, 2.7, 2.8) are placed between the edges of said individual members (S, D, E). The individual members are held together by means of connecting elements (2.9, 14) which compress the sealing elements (2.5, 2.6, 2.7, 2.8).

L'invention concerne un local de sécurité pour des installations informatiques, qui présente des parois latérales ignifugées (2) comportant une porte d'étanchéification (5), un sol (4) et un plafond (3). L'étanchéité du local vis-à-vis des effets de la chaleur en cas d'incendie est favorisée essentiellement par le fait qu'au moins les parois latérales (2) sont assemblées de façon modulaire à partir d'éléments individuels (S, D, E) juxtaposés et ignifugés, se présentant sous la forme de panneaux allant du sol (4) au plafond (3).
