A security screen comprising a frame having an outer edge which defines the outer perimeter of the frame and further having an inner edge (11b) which surrounds an open portion of the frame, the outer edge of the frame being dimensioned such that in use the security screen is receivable across an opening to close the opening, a perforate sheet element (29) received in the open portion of the frame to close the open portion, the edge of the sheet element being formed with a lip (31) extending from one face of the sheet element, the inner edge of the frame formed with a recess (13) having an entry extending across at least a portion of the width of the inner edge, the recess extending along the inner edge, the recess having two opposed side faces (15, 16) extending from the inner edge, one side face (16) of the recess having a zone (23) located inward of the inner edge and extending laterally from the recess, the edge of the sheet element received within the recess such that the lip is located within the zone and the one face of the sheet element adjacent the lip overlies the one side face, a locking member (33) fixed within the recess between the other face of the sheet element and the other side face of the recess to close the space between the sheet element and the other side face.
L'invention concerne un écran de sécurité comprenant un cadre possédant un bord externe qui définit le périmètre externe du cadre et possédant en outre un bord interne (11b) qui entoure une partie ouverte du cadre, le bord externe du cadre étant dimensionné de manière qu'en fonctionnement l'écran de sécurité puisse être logé dans une ouverture afin de fermer cette ouverture, un élément de feuille perforée (29) logé dans la partie ouverte du cadre afin de fermer cette partie ouverte, le bord de l'élément de feuille étant formé d'une languette (31) s'étendant à partir d'une face de l'élément de feuille, le bord interne du cadre formé d'un retrait (13) possédant une entrée s'étendant à travers au moins une partie de la largeur du bord interne, le retrait s'étendant le long du bord interne, et possédant deux faces latérales opposées (15, 16) s'étendant à partir du bord interne, une face latérale (16) du retrait possédant une zone (23) située à l'intérieur du bord interne et s'étendant latéralement à partir du retrait, le bord de l'élément de feuille étant logé dans le retrait de sorte que la languette soit située à l'intérieur de la zone et la face de l'élément de feuille adjacente à la languette étant superposée sur la face latérale, un élément de verrouillage (33) étant fixé dans le retrait entre l'autre face de l'élément de feuille et l'autre face latérale du retrait de manière à fermer l'espace entre l'élément de feuille et l'autre face latérale.
