ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A forced entry inhibiting strike plate assembly for a door jamb on door support framing studs comprising a strike plate having an enlarged opening to receive a lock bolt, and smaller openings to receive fastener screws; elongated fastener screws for mounting the strike plate; elongated steel bushings for extending through the door jamb and into the door support framing studs and receiving the screws; and the screws having a length substantially longer than the bushings to extend through the bushings in the door jamb and be threaded into the door support framing.
