SEDATIVE PREPARATION FOR ANIMALS AND METHOD Abstract of the Disclosure The invention concerns sedative preparations suitable for calming of animals and a method of sedating a warm-blooded animal other than human, comprising the step of administering to such a warm-blooded animal which it is desired to sedate, a magnesium aminodicarboxylic acid chloride, or a magnesium salt of an aminodicarboxylic acid in combination with magnesium chloride, at a dosage sufficient to sedate said warm-blooded animal.
