A support for a seed firming wheel of an agricultural planter. The support comprises a forked frame, a C-shaped link pivotally coupled to the forked frame and a spring positioned between the link and forked frame. The forked frame has a seed tube guard portion, two rearwardly extending arms, and a cross member that form a seed tube opening for receiving a seed tube and maintaining it in the center of the seed planting furrow. The forked frame is also provided with a pivot assembly to which the C-shaped link is mounted. The seed firming wheel is rotatively mounted to the C-shaped link.

Support pour roue de tassement des semences d'un semoir. Le support est constitué d'un bâti fourchu, d'un élément de liaison en C rattaché au bâti fourchu en relation de pivotement et d'un ressort placé entre l'élément de liaison et le bâti fourchu. Le bâti fourchu a une partie de protection du tube de semences, deux bras s'étendant vers l'arrière et un élément transversal qui forment une ouverture de tube de semences pour recevoir un tube de semences et le maintenir dans le centre du sillon d'enfouissement des semences. Le bâti fourchu est également muni d'un assemblage pivot sur lequel est monté l'élément de liaison en C. La roue de tassement des semences est montée sur l'élément de liaison en C de façon à pouvoir tourner.
