ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An apparatus for automatically sowing seed on gound prepared therefor. The apparatus is particularly in- tended for sowing pine and spruce seed. The apparatus com- prises a rotatable seed magazine and a means, in the form of a funnel for dispensing seed from the magazine onto the ground. The rotatable magazine has the form of a rotatable drum which is arranged for rotation on its shaft and which is provided with outfeed passages whose long axes extending in the chordal direction from the inside of the drum to the outside thereof. The funnel is provided with inlet means in the form of nozzles through which air under pres- sure is passed, to prevent the seed from agglomerating in the funnel.
