The present invention generally relates to aqueous seed treatment formulations comprising a pesticidal agent, a polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), a graft copolymer, and a plasticizer. In one embodiment of the invention, PVA-compatible polymer emul-sions are employed. The present invention also relates to uses of the disclosed compositions for protecting seeds from pests.
