A flexible fluid containment vessel or vessels fabricated out of segments of fabric clamped together for transporting and containing a large volume of fluid, particularly fresh water, having means for joining the segments comprising a first upright member (28) on a surface of one segment (48) along an edge thereof; a second (30) upright member on a surface (18) of a second segment along an edge thereof; aligning said first and second upright members (28, 30), means (22) for sealing a space between said first and second segments, and means (38) for securing said first and second upright members together.
