Abstract of the Disclosure A segmental connection between tubular members includ- ing a first tubular member having a first external clamping configuration, a second tubular member having a second external clamping configuration, a plurality of segments having internal clamping configurations for mating with said first and second clamping configurations and fasteners for tightening the segments into clamping engagement with the external configurations of the tubular member to secure them in end to end clamped engagement, and one of said clamping configurations is a tapered wedging shape.
