A segmented adjustment riser for maintenance holes is formed from a set of similar elongated one-piece segments. Each segment has two opposite ends provided with respective interengaging formations, and the segments are placed together end to end to form an endless riser member having planar upper and lower sides. The formations interengage and resist lateral displacement of each end of each segment relative to the adjacent end of each adjacent segment. The segments can be manufactured relatively easily and with greater economy than the corresponding one-piece riser member and facilitate handling and installation.
La présente invention vise une colonne montante segmentée et de longueur réglable, pour trous de visite, composée de plusieurs sections monobloc semblables, de forme allongée. Chaque segment comporte deux bouts dont la forme permet d'emboîter les segments l'un dans l'autre. Les segments sont disposés bout à bout pour former une colonne montante de longueur indéfinie, dont le dessus et les côtés présentent une surface plane. Les bouts s'emboîtent l'un dans l'autre de façon que le bout de chaque segment résiste au déplacement latéral par rapport au bout du segment adjacent. Les segments peuvent être fabriqués relativement facilement, et plus économiquement qu'une colonne montante équivalente en une pièce; leur manutention et leur installation est en outre plus facile.
