The invention relates to a method for selecting two contrast media for use in a dual-energy CT examination of a patient. Said method comprises the following: determination of the gradient (m) (= base gradient) of a connecting line in an HU value diagram of energy-specific HU values between a first material or a first tissue type (G1) and a second material or second tissue type (G2), selection of a first contrast medium (K1) with an enhanced gradient (m1), which is significantly higher than the determined base gradient (m), and selection of a second contrast medium (K2), the enhancement gradient (m2) of which lies in the significant region of the determined base gradient (m). The invention also relates to a contrast medium combination that has been selected in this way and to the generation of CT images using a contrast medium combination that has been selected in this way, with the aid of different energy spectra.
Procédé de sélection de deux agents de contraste destinés à être utilisés lors de l'examen d'un patient par tomographie assistée par ordinateur (CT) à double énergie, qui comprend la détermination de l'inclinaison (m) (= inclinaison de base) d'une ligne de liaison dans un diagramme des valeurs HU spécifiques de l'énergie entre une première matière ou un premier type de tissus (G1) et une seconde matière ou un second type de tissus (G2), la sélection d'un premier agent de contraste (K1) à inclinaison améliorée (m<SUB>1</SUB>) qui est considérablement plus forte que l'inclinaison de base déterminée (m) et la sélection d'un second agent de contraste (K2) dont l'amélioration (m<SUB>2</SUB>) est du même ordre que l'inclinaison déterminée (m).
