A selection apparatus for grouping articles (A) in predetermined quantities from a moving stream of articles. The apparatus includes a horizontal rotating plate (14, 114) with three equally spaced arms (15, 15b, 15c) and a lug assembly (16a, 16b, 16c) attached to an end of each arm. The plate rotates at a repeating velocity pattern enabling a lug assembly to be inserted between articles from the moving stream and a group of selected articles to be separated by a predetermined acceleration of the lug assembly.

L'invention concerne un appareil de sélection permettant de grouper des articles (A) en quantités prédéterminées, à partir d'un flux mobile d'articles. L'appareil comprend une plaque rotative horizontale (14, 114) présentant trois bras espacés à égale distance (15, 15b, 15c) et un ensemble de saillie (16a, 16b, 16c) fixé sur une extrémité de chaque bras. La plaque tourne selon un schéma de vitesse à répétition permettant d'introduire un ensemble de saillie entre des articles à partir du flux mobile et permettant de séparer un groupe d'articles sélectionnés au moyen d'une accélération prédéterminée de l'ensemble de saillie.
