A method is provided for selecting nucleic acids encoding gene products in which the nucleic acid encoding the gene product is selectively and quantitatively amplified depending on the activity of the gene itself or the gene product. The method may, for example, be used in selecting gene products arising from in vitro evolution of molecular libraries.

L'invention concerne un procédé de sélection d'acides nucléiques codant des produits géniques, sachant que l'acide nucléique codeur est amplifié de façon sélective et quantitative, en fonction de l'activité du gène ou du produit génique proprement dit. Par exemple, le procédé peut être utilisé pour la sélection de produits géniques issus de l'évolution in vitro de librairies moléculaires.
