A process for the selective removal of a least a portion of at least one precious metal in the form of a metal-cyanide complex from an ion-exchange resin to which the precious metal and at least one base metal-cyanide complex are bound, wherein the at least one precious metal is eluted from the resing by contacting the resin with an eluent comprising at least one counter-ion contained in a solvent selected from an organic solvent or a combination of an organic solvent and an aqueous solvent.

La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé d'extraction sélective d'au moins une partie d'au moins un métal précieux sous la forme d'un complexe métal précieux-cyanure à partir d'une résine échangeuse d'ions à laquelle le métal précieux et au moins un complexe métal de base-cyanure sont liés, ledit métal précieux étant soumis à une élution à partir de la résine par contact de ladite résine avec un éluant comportant au moins un contre-ion contenu dans un solvant sélectionné parmi un solvant organique et une combinaison d'un solvant organique et d'un solvant aqueux.
