The invention relates to a self-adaptable intraoral device for correcting oneself the asymmetry of temporomandibular joints, said device comprising two soft pads (1) which are to be clamped between the upper and lower molars and are interconnected by a connecting element in order to prevent them from being swallowed. The inventive device is characterised in that said connecting element consists of two rigid rods (3, 7, 14), the ends of said rods being respectively fixed to a pad (1), and the other ends, opposing the pads (1), being interconnected by a part (4, 8, 15) which acts as a hinge and enables the distance between the two pads (1) to be adjusted.

Dispositif intra-oral auto-adaptable pour corriger soi-même l~asymétrie des articulations temporomandibulaires, comprenant deux coussinets (1) en matière souple destinés à être serrés chacun entre les molaires inférieures et supérieures, ces deux coussinets (1) étant reliés entre eux par un lien pour éviter qu~ils puissent être avalés, caractérisé en ce que ledit lien est constitué par deux tiges (3, 7, 14) en matière rigide dont les extrémités sont chacune fixées à un coussinet (1), les extrémités des tiges opposées aux coussinets (1) étant reliées entre elles par une partie (4, 8, 15) formant charnière permettant de modifier l~écartement entre les deux coussinets (1).
