A self-adhesive (2) label carried on a backing of release material (16), the label comprising: a self-adhesive support piece (y) which is releasably adhered to the backing; a multilaminar label portion adhered to a first portion of an upper surface of the support piece, a second portion (28) of the upper surface of the support piece adjacent the first portion being left uncovered by the multilaminar label portion; and a self-adhesive overlaminate (16) adhered to an upper surface of the multilaminar label portion so as substantially to cover the multilaminar label portion and to cover a portion of the backing of release material adjacent to the multilaminar label portion thereby to retain the multilaminar label portion in a closed configuration, and wherein the second (28) portion of the upper surface of the support piece is left substantially uncovered by the overlaminate. L'invention concerne une étiquette auto-adhésive, placée sur une couche de base de matériau (16) détachable, l'étiquette comprenant une partie de support (y) auto-adhésif, collée de manière détachable sur ladite couche de base; une partie d'étiquette multicouche collée sur une première partie de la surface supérieure de la partie de support, une seconde partie (28) de la surface supérieure de la partie de support étant adjacente à la première partie non recouverte par la partie d'étiquette multicouche; et une couche de dessus (16) multicouche auto-adhésive collée sur la surface supérieure de la partie d'étiquette multicouche, de façon à recouvrir sensiblement cette couche, et à recouvrir également une partie de la couche de base de matériau détachable adjacente à la partie d'étiquette multicouche, ce qui maintient cette partie dans configuration fermée, la seconde partie (28) de la surface supérieure de la pièce de support étant sensiblement non recouverte par la couche de dessus multicouche.
