A manhole cover support assembly for use in supporting a manhole cover coplanar to the road surface and over the top end of an upright manhole shaft. This assembly comprises a female frame member, comprising an elongated conical tubular section having a diametrally largest end and a diametrally smallest mouth, and an integral annular first flange radially outwardly depending from the diametrally largest end of the female frame member, the annular first flange adapted to flatly abut horizontally against the top end of the upright manhole shaft. A male frame member comprises an elongated cylindrical section defining one and another opposite ends, and an integral second grip fix key flange radially outwardly depending from said one end of the male frame member, the second flange defining an interior annular recess sized for edgewisely receiving and supporting the manhole cover. The cylinder section is freely and releasably engaged into the conical section, tiltingly relative to the longitudinal axis of the conical section responsively to road surface gradients, whereby the interior annular recess of the second flange is allowed to remain within the plane of the overlying road surface.
Cette invention concerne un support de tampon de regard inclinable sur cheminée verticale pour que le tampon suive la pente de la chaussée. Le support se compose d'un cadre femelle comportant une section conique dont la base a un diamètre supérieur au diamètre de sa bouche et un rebord extérieur adapté pour reposer à plat sur le sommet horizontal de la cheminée de regard, et d'un cadre mâle cylindrique comportant à son bout supérieur une encoignure définissant un logement annulaire dimensionné pour supporter le tampon en périphérie. Le cadre mâle est posé dans le cadre femelle de façon amovible et à angle par rapport à l'axe longitudinal de celle-ci, l'angle d'inclinaison étant fonction de la pente de la chaussée, ce qui permet d'encastrer le tampon de regard de manière à ce qu'il soit d'affleurement avec la chaussée et présente la même pente que celle-ci.
