ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A hitch for vehicle trailers for facilitating interconnection of the tow and towed vehicles, suitable for use with recreational vehicle trailers, wherein the hitch includes an extensible and universally pivot- able support for one of the hitch components permitting an easily achieved interconnection between the vehicles whereby the tow vehicle can pull the the trailer to a near alignment and the hitch members to a towable condition.
