The invention relates to a litter box which cleans itself automatically, and separates the soiled litter from the clean litter, storing the soiled litter in a receptacle and replacing the consumed litter by clean reserve litter. Said litter box comprises a sieve (1) configured like an endless web, a continuous transport means (8) for taking up the litter to be recycled, circulating in a tube (5, 7, 9, 11) and, optionally, a system (6, 15, 16, 18) comprising a bin bag facilitating the filling of the receptacle (21) even in a substantially horizontal position. Application to cats and other animals, particularly other pets, farm animals or wild animals in captivity.

L'invention concerne un bac à litière se nettoyant automatiquement, séparant la litière souillée de la litière propre, stockant la litière souillée dans un réceptacle et remplaçant la litière consommée par de la litière propre en réserve. Ce bac à litière comporte un tamis (1) sous forme de bande sans fin, un organe de transport continu (8) pour la remontée de la litière à recycler; circulant dans un tube (5, 7, 9, 11) et en option un système (6, 15, 16, 18) comprenant un sac poubelle, facilitant le remplissage du réceptacle (21), même en position pratiquement horizontale. Application aux chats et autres animaux, notamment d'autres animaux domestiques, des animaux de ferme ou des animaux sauvages en captivité.
