A paint brush (10), having a body (12), a handle (14) connected to and extending outwardly from the body (12), a plurality of bristles (16) arranged in a plurality of rows (38, 40, 42) and extending outwardly from the body (12), a liquid inlet channel (22) formed so as to extend through the body (12) toward the plurality of bristles (16), and a plenum area (24) formed in the body (12) and connected to the liquid inlet channel (22). The plenum area (24) has a plurality of outlet orifices (36, 44) formed therein adjacent to an end of the plurality of bristles (46). These outlets orifices (44) are arranged in rows (38, 40, 42) between the plurality of bristles (36). The liquid inlet channel (22) extends at an acute angle relative to a longitudinal axis of the handle (14). An adapter member (50) has a connector for attachment to an external source of liquid. The adapter member has a threaded end (52) which tapers to an insert member (56). The insert member (56) is slidably received within the liquid inlet channel (22).
