A self-closing resealable packaging material (S) and a process for creating a package utilizing the material. The packaging material is formed form at least one sheet of a package forming material (10), preferably laminated to a seond sheet (12) through an adhesive layer (11), which encloses and seals and article therein. A cohesive material (13) is applied to surface portions of the packaging material so that when wrapped around an article cohesive portions stick together and seal the package. To make the package resealable a liner (17) is placed upon at least a part of the cohesive material containing surface so that a non-adhering margin is formed and the unused cohesive can be utilized reseal the package after its initial opening. Indicia (19) can be provided on the packaging material to assist in positioning the article to be enclosed so taht when cut along the pre-dotted line (18), the edge of the laminate with the cohesive material (13) is cut away from the package and the non-adhered margin is left unimpaired and intact for resealing.
L'invention concerne un matériau d'emballage refermable à fermeture automatique (S) et un procédé de création d'emballage à l'aide dudit matériau. Ledit matériau d'emballage est formé à partir d'au moins une feuille de matériau (10) formant un emballage, de préférence stratifiée sur une seconde feuille (12) par l'intermédiaire d'une couche adhésive (11), et entoure et enferme hermétiquement un article. Un matériau cohésif (13) est appliqué sur des parties de surface du matériel d'emballage de sorte que lorsqu'on enveloppe un article dans ledit matériau les parties cohésives collent entre elles et ferment hermétiquement l'emballage. Afin de refermer l'emballage, une garniture (17) est placée sur au moins une partie de la surface contenant le matériau cohésif de sorte qu'une marge non adhésive est formée, et que le matériau cohésif non utilisé peut être utilisé pour refermer l'emballage après son ouverture initiale. Des repères (19) peuvent être placés sur le matériau d'emballage afin de faciliter le positionnement de l'article à emballer de sorte lorsqu'on découpe le long d'une ligne pointillée (18), le bord du stratifié portant le matériau cohésif (13) est détaché de l'emballage et la marge non collée n'est pas abîmée et est conservée intacte afin de refermer ledit emballage.
