A self-drilling anchor (210) for use in a friable material (1) comprises a body (20) having an axis (206), an axial bore (208) adapted to receive a fastener, a proximal end (214), a drilling end (216), a proximal portion (218) adjacent the proximal end (214) having threading (219) for engaging the friable material, and a drilling portion (224) adjacent the drilling end, wherein the threading (219) has a root (226) with a root diameter (PR) and a crest (227) with a crest diameter (P2), and the anchor has a head (210) at the proximal end (214) having an outer diameter (HD) that is smaller than the crest diameter (P2). The anchor head is configured for minimizing visible distortion of the friable material as the anchor is advanced into the friable material.
L'invention porte sur un ancrage autoperceur (210) qui s'utilise dans un matériau friable (1) et comprend un corps (20) doté d'un axe (206), un alésage axial (208) conçu pour recevoir une attache, une extrémité distale (214), une extrémité de perçage (216), une partie proximale (218) située contre l'extrémité distale (214) pourvue d'un filetage (219) pour venir en prise avec le matériau friable, et une partie de perçage (224) placée contre l'extrémité de perçage, le filetage (219) possédant un fond de filet (226) avec un certain diamètre de fond de filet (PR) et un sommet de filet (227) avec un certain diamètre de sommet de filet (P2).
