A luminal endoprosthesis comprising a framework (1) made up of braided filaments. The framework (1) is self-expanding, that is to say that after it has been radially compressed for positioning of the endoprosthesis, it automatically recovers its nominal diameter. The metal of the framework has undergone a thermal treatment bringing about a state transition, at a temperature close to that of the organism, and this confers upon it a suitable rigidity after it has been positioned in an anatomical conduit.

L'invention concerne une endoprothèse luminale comprenant une structure (1) formée de filaments tressés. La structure (1) est autoexpansible, c'est-à-dire qu'après compression radiale en vue de la pose de l'endoprothèse, la structure reprend automatiquement son diamètre nominal. Le métal de la structure a subi un traitement thermique entraînant ainsi un état de transition à une température voisine de celle de l'organisme et lui conférant une rigidité convenable après mise en place dans un conduit anatomique.
